Avant-garde eco-friendly treehouse style rooms are set amidst miles of reindeer-populated forest and the wonderful Lule River where you can forget about the time constraints of everyday life, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and rejuvenate in a sophisticated yet familiar environment. Treehotel is perfect for romantic getaways, fun family adventures and relaxing weekend breaks.
Ultra-modern, eco-friendly tree cabins created by Scandinavia’s leading architects are a 12-minute walk from the Bodträskån river and an 11-minute walk from the Harads village. A weekend at Treehotel opens up a world of possibilities in both summer and winter with a host of activities available from tours of the Northern Lights, ice dining and dog sled trips to water sports, zip lining and outdoor cooking classes. Alternatively, escape to the Tree Sauna for a dip in the child-friendly Scandinavian style indoor whirlpool plunge bath or open-air hot tub.
The individually designed tree cabins sleep 1 to 5 people and are suspended 4 to 6 meters off the ground, accessible by ramp, bridge, or electric stairs.
The Cabin is like a capsule, a foreign body in the trees reached via a horizontal bridge and is suitable for two people, with a double bed, bathroom and a terrace.
The UFO is a unique room built for five people, two adults in a double bed and three children, with separate beds, bathroom and living area.
The Mirrorcube is an exciting hide-out among the trees, camouflaged by mirrored walls that reflect their surroundings. It is suitable for two people with a double bed, bathroom, lounge, and rooftop terrace.
The Blue Cone is a traditional wooden structure based on simplicity and accessibility, both in terms of material and design. The bridge is well suited for people with disabilities and has capacity for 4 people with four beds, a separate sleeping loft, bathroom and living room.
The Bird’s Nest is built on the contrasts between the outside and inside with a spacious environment where a family with two children can comfortably relax.
The Dragonfly is the largest space available, designed to be used as a private suite or a unique conference venue. Large panoramic windows give you a magnificent view of the valley and the room is spacious enough to suit two couples or an entire family.
Each room has radiant floors, and bathrooms with sinks and combustion or freezing toilets, while showers are found in a neighbouring building. You’ll also find a mobile phone, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar, free water and air conditioning.
When you arrive at Treehotel, you first check at Britta’s Pensionat; then it’s a short stroll through the breathtaking nature to your treeroom; a place where nature, ecological values, comfort and innovative modern design are combined for an exciting adventure.
